The position of special events program planner will be responsible for the following tasks:
*create and plan programs and events for the community
*implement programs and events, under the direction of the mentor
*maintain supplies for programs and events
*cleanup after events or programs are complete
*duties shared with other summer positions includes working in the kitchen, dining room, and second hand shop, as well as regular cleaning of the facility.

Provides resident focused care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

-Provides assistance to residents, such as bathing and bowel care.
-Assists residents at mealtimes, including feeding and supervision, as well as verifies that individual diet guidelines are followed.
-Responds to resident call bells. Assists residents with mobilization, range of motion, and exercises.
-Transfers and positions residents using proper body mechanics and equipment, such as mechanical lifts and transfer belts.
-Transports residents to and from in-house activities, such as meals, pastoral, and activation events.
-Provides incontinent care, basic catheter and ostomy care.
-Collects specimens, such as sputum, urine, and stool.
-Communicates with residents, families, team members and healthcare professionals and/or other departments concerning resident's needs.
-Participates in meetings by providing information and ensuring follow-up of recommendations.

The Theatre School Summer Instructor will instruct for TNB Theatre School's summer programs in acting and musical theatre, for students ages 5-18 years old. Duties include assisting in material selection and lesson planning; teaching acting technique, music, and/or dance, and following the TNB Theatre School curriculum. The Instructor will maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all students, communicate with parents about schedules, camp needs, and any challenges students are having in the class, and support summer camp volunteers. The Instructor reports to the Theatre School Director and will keep them informed of class progress. Skills Required -Must work well with children -Must have experience in theatre arts -Experience with leading and teaching children/youth in singing, acting and/or dancing preferred -Demonstrate skills in conflict resolution -Must have the ability to work collaboratively and communicate well with others.

12 Neighbours Community Inc. operates a community of tiny homes to support people who were experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. In addition to housing, we provide developmental support to our community members and work training opportunities to help them on their path to independence. We strive to foster inclusivity, dignity and a supportive community.

The Community Activity Support role will work with the community team to organize and run community activities in the summer. These activities include working alongside community members in the community garden, planning summer bbqs and events, participating in physical activities with the community members, etc. This role reports to the Director of Community.
