Le coordonnateur du programme artistique soutiendra les programmes éducatifs et publics inclusifs et accessibles de la galerie durant l’été 2026. Travaillant principalement au pavillon Harrison McCain et au centre éducatif, l’étudiant participera à l’élaboration et à l’animation de programmes liés aux expositions pour des publics de tous âges. Il dirigera notamment les activités bilingues gratuites du Art Cart, offrant des expériences créatives pratiques. La présence de deux coordonnateurs assurera une programmation sept jours sur sept.

L’objectif principal est d’accroître la capacité de programmation publique de la galerie tout en permettant à l’étudiant d’acquérir des compétences pratiques et transférables. Le coordonnateur aidera à planifier et à animer des activités liées aux expositions, axées sur les enfants de 6 à 12 ans, et développera une expérience professionnelle en programmation, accessibilité et engagement du public.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist TRC Staff with programming.
Provide appropriate leadership and positive role-modeling at all times to youth participants.
Assist staff with set up and/or takedown of activities.
Assist staff with overall supervision of youth to ensure a safe and fun environment is maintained.
Be familiar with and deliver programs according to the policies and procedures of the agency.
Interact and communicate with staff, youth, and the community, at large, in a positive and professional manner.
Conduct self in a manner befitting the positive image that the TRC endeavors to convey in the community, whether at work or on personal time.
Exert sound judgment and discretion, while preserving confidentiality, as outlined in the agency Code of Confidentiality.
Be reliable in attendance at programs, as scheduled.
Exhibit effective communication skills in listening and talking to youth, as well as communicating with TRC staff regarding concerns with youth.

Commitment to providing a safe, diverse, encouraging, and fun atmosphere for all paddlers and athletes. Leadership skills and ability to present themselves as strong role models for all paddlers and athletes. Creativity in developing and implementing engaging programming for paddlers. Ability to work and perform in a team environment.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience with water sports, particularly in sprint canoe and kayak. Successful coaches for all water activities should be able to demonstrate proof of, or willingness to acquire:-Certified ELCC or Canoe Kids (wage increase if completed) • New Brunswick Pleasure Craft Operator Certification • Standard First Aid & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification • Provide a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector• Complete the Safe Sport Training course.

Provide programming and work skills for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Responsiblities would include supervision, modelling, job training and report writing and documentation. Knowledge of Intellectual Disabilities and experience would be a valued asset however not mandatory for the summer employment. Reliable transportation is an asset.

The Growing Place is a community garden / greenhouse located in Crescent Valley, Saint John. It is operated by the Crescent Valley Resource Centre (CVRC). The Community Garden Assistant will provide necessary assistance to the CVRC staff. This will include maintaining garden plots and common spaces, harvesting produce for the food bank, organizing the tool shed, leading recreational activities for children in the garden & the centre, participating in garden workshops, and completing other garden and office activities and tasks as necessary.
Additionally:
Support volunteers in garden maintenance tasks (planting, watering, harvesting, composting, etc.)
Run weekly activities in the garden for neighbourhood children
Assist with various tasks as needed, including shopping for supplies, cooking, & caring for monarch butterflies.
Support maintaining garden records.
