The Pitching Instructor is responsible for introducing and developing pitching skills for all age divisions. Responsibilities include: scheduling and implementing pitching clinics throughout the summer (weekdays & evenings), introducing pitching basics to recreation teams (U11 and older) at weekly practices; producing instructional videos to be used in future clinics for demonstration purposes.

The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for the general maintenance, care, and modification of the grounds. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: mowing lawns, collecting and removing trash, minor facilities repairs, custodial duties, and other related tasks as assigned. The Facilities Coordinator position requires prolonged standing, frequent bending, and kneeling. The suscessful candidate must be willing to use a range of electrical and/or gasoline-powered maintenance equipment. The successful candidate will primarily work alone and must be a self-starter. However, the Facilities Coordinator will report to and have regularly scheduled meetings with the Vice-President.

The Community Connections and Volunteer Coordinator Assistant (CCVCA) works with the team in various aspects of summer programming for clients of MAS. These activities include but are not limited to helping to organize multicultural events, community outreach initiatives and volunteers. The CCVCA has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work independently or as part of a diverse team. They exhibit cultural sensitivity and an understanding of newcomer challenges. They are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms and have good organizational skills. Front desk work, greeting clients and taking messages are part of the daily job. This is a 35-hour per week position with some evening and weekend work required.

The Aquatic Field Biologist supports BWC’s aquatic projects both in the field and office by handling duties such as water quality monitoring, water pollution research, fish passage restoration, surveying, sampling, tagging, and outreach. Responsibilities also include riparian and aquatic restoration, data entry, report writing, and helping at community events. This role calls for candidates who are self-motivated and able to work independently, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, remain safety-conscious, and enjoy working outdoors in any weather. Experience with boats and water is important. Students studying biology, environmental science, or ecology will benefit greatly from this opportunity, which provides practical experience valuable for career growth. The job is full-time, seasonal (35 hours per week), lasting 10–12 weeks and starting in May 2026.

The position of special events program planner will be responsible for the following tasks:
