We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized summer student to plan and coordinate social and recreational activities for youth in care. This role involves organizing events such as a summer BBQ, beach days, sports activities, and other community outings. The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, and passionate about providing fun and inclusive experiences for youth.

The Moss Glen legion is excited to hire two people to help with various responsibilities at the Legion. Each summer there is a low-cost softball program offered for youth at this location and summer employees would be assisting with planning and coaching - all training will be provided and there is no experience necessary. Other possible tasks include, but are not limited, to cleaning, light building maintenance (organization, painting, ect), yard work, planning and assisting with community events. If interested, employees will also have the opportunity to assist with social media pages and advertising.

The Education and Engagement Intern will support the Conservation Council of New Brunswick’s Learning Outside program by delivering hands-on, biodiversity-focused outdoor education to schools and community groups, focusing on engaging newcomer youth and underrepresented communities. They will help develop and adapt curriculum-based activities, facilitate interactive learning experiences, and support mentorship initiatives for young adults from racialized groups. Additionally, they will contribute to program evaluation, outreach, and community engagement efforts.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for the environment, experience working with youth, and an interest in inclusive education. Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark is hiring a Geopark Interpreter. This role will focus on showcasing relevant natural and cultural history sites around the region, while operating primarily out of Saint John. The Geopark Interpreter will inform the public about what Stonehammer does, and educate on the environment, history, and culture of the region, while promoting sustainable tourism initiatives. Programming will be directed at both locals and tourists, and will include events that are free and low cost for the community.
Training will be provided; additionally, the candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people, and work independently and with a team. Applicants of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Job Type: full-time, seasonal
Contract length: 12 weeks
Salary: $15.30-$16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 hours
Schedule: Day shift; Weekends, evenings as needed

Visitors will be greeted and offered a self guided tour, or can receive a tour led by the greeter. There are also weekday musical events and the guides will welcome participants, and assure there is no entry during the event so a quiet atmosphere is the norm. There is no religious component or discussion engaged in. We let the church's spiritual side speak though the furnishings observed.
