As a Warehouse Associate at our Habitat for Humanity ReStore, you play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide affordable housing solutions for families in need. Your responsibilities will involve handling donations, organizing inventory, and ensuring a smooth operation within the warehouse to contribute to the success of our charitable initiatives. Duties will include:
- receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming donations of furniture, appliances, building materials, and other items;
- maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring easy access to items for both staff and customers;
- conducting quality checks on donated items;
- assisting customers in locating and loading purchased items, providing excellent customer service;
- adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while handling items, ensuring a safe working environment;
- working closely with other warehouse associates, retail staff, and volunteers to streamline operations and achieve goals.

These roles will offer an exciting range of duties as you will be primarily helping out in our Habitat ReStore, but may also have the opportunity to assist with our Habitat home builds as needed.

There will also be a creative component to the positions that allow you to explore various re-purposing project ideas. These will highlight the sustainability aspect of our ReStore operation and encourage re-use and upcycling of products found within our store.

General ReStore duties will include assisting with day to day operation such as customer service and cash related duties, assisting with inventory, preparing items for the sales floor, product promotion, pricing, etc. Some heavy lifting will be required.
