2) Assume responsibility for the health and welfare of campers entrusted into your care, with special attention to personal hygiene, health and safety; camper participation in camp activities; camper behavioral management; and cabin cleanliness.
3) Assume responsibility for building community in the cabin, with special attention to: building up self-worth of individuals; facilitating relationships between campers; and encouraging a high level of morale.

Assistant(e) de projet sera responsable d'entrer les données recueillies durant les sorties de surveillances dans les bases de données de l'organisme sous la supervision de la technicienne en environnement. Il devra également assurer le suivi des objectifs de projet sur la qualité de l'eau, la surveillance d'espèces à risques comme le satyre fauve des maritimes et l'hirondelle de rivages. L'employé aura l'occasion d'utiliser et calibrer des équipements comme une sonde multiparamètre, un courantomètre et un anémomètre. The youth assistant will work closely with the youth director to create and implement engaging programs, events, and activities for our youth during the summer months. Responsibilities will include assisting in planning and organizing youth events, helping lead and facilitate discussions, workshops, and activities, and helping in the planning and gathering of supplies and materials needed for weekly programs and other special events.

The Children's Programming Assistant will work alongside the Children's director to provide programming for children in the church and community. Responsibilities will include organizing and executing programs, completing administrative tasks such as preparing music and visual presentations, managing registrations for summer camp and purchasing supplies for events, and working alongside of the Exceptional Ministries Team to assist in scheduling volunteer workers for children with special needs.

The Exceptional Programming Director will give lead to the summer team of employees and volunteers in the development and execution of programming for children, teens and adults from the special needs community. Responsibilities will include planning activities for a summer camp, managing a weekly budget, recruiting volunteers, delegating tasks to team members, and overseeing the care of those in the summer programs (alongside of the Exceptional Ministries Pastor)

The primary duties of these positions centre around interaction and information for the travelling public. These individuals will greet and provide information about the historical and ecological significance of Cape Jourimain to visitors. This will include: informing them of the history of Cape Jourimain as the historic crossing place between mainland New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, first by the Mi'kmaq people using birchbark canoes, followed by, after European contact, the French and English using various forms of boats, to the present day Confederation Bridge. They will provide visitors with information on the rich ecology of the site; and will assist with interpretation programs for local youth groups. They will brief visitors to the Lighthouse, explaining the significance of these structures to local navigation. These workers will be provided with an extensive orientation to all facets of the Centre and its grounds.

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to function as Heritage Researchers & Community Liaisons. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about regional history and genealogy. Researchers will be responsible for conducting 10 local interviews, posting daily to the groups media account, accessing archives and historical records, and completing a summer wide project focused on regional one room school houses. Candidates should have a strong interest in history/genealogy, excellent social media and computer skills, an understanding of navigating archives, strong organizational skill, and great interpersonal skills (communication, speech, and relationship building. ) This role will entail working independently while regularly collaborating with liaisons from the organization.
