This is an immersive experiential learning opportunity aimed at protecting our environment and promoting community food sovereignty. Under the guidance of our Farm Manager and Youth & Family Educator, they will develop essential growing skills to support the programming of our regenerative community teaching farm. No prior farm experience is required; all necessary skills will be developed during the work placement. Responsibilities include cultivating crops in our teaching gardens using sustainable practices, assisting in educational outreach efforts including digital content creation to a diverse cross section of our community, maintaining farm infrastructure, engaging with the local community, and contributing to data collection & analysis for continuous improvement. Some Saturday work will be required to accommodate program schedules and special events. This is an opportunity for meaningful community impact and to cultivate a healthier, more resilient future.
