The individual should be dynamic and creative. Responsibilities include but are not limited to social media postings, website management, weekly marketing, organizing childrens activities, assisting once a week with a childrens play group on the property. Set up and tear down assistance at the market. You must work Friday evenings and Saturday mornings till 1pm. Assist with finding vendors, booking weekly music, organizing weekly workshops on food security and other issues related to the farmers market, find funding opportunities. Set up and manage the community store booth. Maintenance of the grounds and buildings. This includes painting, scraping, cleaning, garbadage management, lawn care, picking up sticks etc.... Planting and watering of community greenhouse and raised beds. Any other duties as decided by the board or the market manager.
