The Woodstock Recreation Department maintains a number of parks, playgrounds, multi-sports fields, buildings, green spaces and landscaped areas throughout our town that requires continuous maintenance. This maintenance may include, but not limited to, painting, mowing, trimming, garbage removal, annual landscape maintenance, call and soccer field lining and other maintenance requests deemed necessary by Facilities Director or Maintenance Lead Hand.

In this role, you are part of the direct care team. Reporting directly to the RN/LPN in charge. You will then be available to help care attendants with tidy rooms, do light care duties like washing hands and faces, spend one on one time with residents throughout the day. Spend good quality time with as many residents as you can. • Care duties if you have PSW training • Assist with lunch including transport residents to and from Dining Room for meals and to activities/entertainment • Socialize w/ residents. Answer call bells • Deliver healthy snacks and Fluids • Walk residents if appropriate/Weather appropriate: • Style hair, Nail care (check if diabetic) & manicures (ask staff who may enjoy this) • If there is no entertainment scheduled, think of an activity that you may wish to do w/ the resident e.g. movie, reading, reminiscing, cards, tea party & so forth

Receives assignments from the Director of Maintenance Performs preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment on a scheduled basis such as inspections and repairs or replacing defective parts on equipment. Performs building maintenance and repairs such as painting, plastering, and assembling equipment. Maintains building grounds such as mowing lawns, planting flowers, snow removal, and landscaping. Performs minor equipment repairs on various equipment such as ovens, air conditioners, and wheelchairs. Performs basic plumbing and electrical duties such as replacing faucets and repairing electrical beds. Operates and services facility equipment such as tractors, vehicles and lawn mowers. Orders, receives, and stocks supplies. Assists contractors working on site
