The Learning Disabilities Association of New Brunswick is seeking tutors for our Barton Tutoring Program in the greater Fredericton region. This primarily in-person role may also include online tutoring. Tutors provide one-to-one instruction using the internationally recognized Barton Reading and Writing System (Orton-Gillingham approach) to teach reading and spelling fundamentals to children with learning difficulties. In addition to tutoring, tutors will create engaging social media content and assist with community outreach to raise awareness about LDANB and learning disabilities. Job Description:
We are looking for full-time staff for our summer 2026 season. Employment from mid-May until September 4th.

Hours would be full-time between 35 to 40, 5 days a week.

Job Requirements:
- Work under the supervision of the Master Guide
- Rig and belay clients during adventure activities
- Participate in any training related to safety, first aid and adventure
- Maintain a valid Workplace First Aid CPR Level C certificate (minimum); training will be provided
- Clean, inspect and store adventure activity equipment
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly logs of equipment
- Ensure clients sign waivers, prior to gearing up for activities

Working with a small team, this position is as an assistant with delivering hands-on programming about art and nature to children, ages 5-11years. Responsible supervision is required, working in a summer camp environment with outdoor excursions and explorations - activities include assisting with creation of art and craft projects, exploring our natural environment, and the links between them. Games and physical activities are also incorporated, working with kids to encourage them to explore, express themselves in a safe environment, and build respectful, interactive social skills.
