The Student Education Co-Ordinator (SEC) will assist TPRA’s General Manager (GM) in organizing & delivering of Educational & Recreational programs at Tucker Park (TP) including contacting schools for spring "In Search of Biodiversity" field trips with a special focus on National Ocean Week Celebrations. The SEC will also be responsible for contacting community groups to schedule summer "Community Groups FunDay and Environmental Awareness" organized visits to Tucker Park. The SEC will maintain accurate records of organized visits, including feedback to be included in TPRA year end report. Other duties may be added as needed.
Skills - strong interpersonal skills especially oral & writing, work independently, problem solving, leadership with an ability to work with individuals & groups of all ages & backgrounds. Assets – ability to speak in English & French, valid driver’s license with access to personal vehicle, cell phone & computer.

The Facilities and Outreach Associate support the daily life of the church but maintaining the facilities, assisting and organizing community events and supporting church ministry needs (I.E., Youth Work, Kids Programs, Event planning). This role ensures that the church building, grounds and operation systems serve the ministry well while maintaining a visible and supportive presence in the congregation and community.
Primary responsibilities will include facility upkeep and development, preparation and teardown for services and events, coordination of basic needs and as assisting with church initiatives. The associate will also support the pastors duties such as pastoral visitation, scheduling and follow up. This role will work under the direction of the Lead Pastor and is designed to combine a hands on service with ministry exposure and church events.

Under the supervision of the Communications and Engagement Specialist, the Engagement and Outreach Assistant will provide support on a number of environmental engagement and outreach activities within our ongoing projects throughout the summer. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of programming and resources for classrooms, in-person and online education including presentations, social media content, lesson plans, interactive games and activities and others. The Engagement and Outreach Assistant will also provide hands-on support to other project staff to document the activities and successes of our field-based projects. The ideal candidate would be flexible in their working schedule, be able to work within a team, have excellent communication skills and be highly organized.

As a day camp counsellor, you will be responsible for the planning and implementing of a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive summer day camp for school aged children. This includes, but is not limited to planning activities, crafts, games, outings, and special events. You will ensure that the building, playground, and playing fields are in safe working order, and free of hazards. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained. Preparing an afternoon snack, and end of the day cleaning is required to be completed on a rotating schedule.
Most importantly, you will be responsible for making sure that all children attending feel safe, and welcome, by having open communication with them, and showing a genuine interest in each child.
