The Facilities and Outreach Associate support the daily life of the church but maintaining the facilities, assisting and organizing community events and supporting church ministry needs (I.E., Youth Work, Kids Programs, Event planning). This role ensures that the church building, grounds and operation systems serve the ministry well while maintaining a visible and supportive presence in the congregation and community.

Primary responsibilities will include facility upkeep and development, preparation and teardown for services and events, coordination of basic needs and as assisting with church initiatives. The associate will also support the pastors duties such as pastoral visitation, scheduling and follow up. This role will work under the direction of the Lead Pastor and is designed to combine a hands on service with ministry exposure and church events.

The Child & Youth Support Worker will support the Child & Youth Lead in delivering culturally grounded, trauma-informed programming for children and youth living in an Indigenous-led 2nd stage transition housing for IPV survivors. The student will assist with planning and facilitating age-appropriate group activities, play-based programming, and creative or cultural activities; preparing materials, snacks, and activity spaces; and supporting children during structured and unstructured times.
Learning objectives include developing an understanding of Indigenous-informed and violence-aware practice; gaining experience in group facilitation, play-based engagement, and child development observation; building skills in professional communication, teamwork, and basic documentation. The student will receive regular guidance and mentorship from the Child & Youth Lead and team.
